Reported Speech is when you tell somebody else what
you or a person said before.
a. Direct Speech and Indirect speech
Direct
Speech is spoken sentence directly
from the speaker, sentence they have not changed or added.
Indirect
Speech is a phrase that comes from
direct sentences that tell back in another form.
Example :

She said, “ I had to quickly graduated”.
